Hand-rolled
Mylar or Cellophane cones (New tutorial-- how
to use Mylar Cones): I've tried literally everything people use to apply
henna, and the best tool I've found in this one- the mylar rolled cone. You can
use them all day with no hand strain while getting as fine or thick a line as
you need. Also, no clogging! And they come in pretty colors. I like pretty colors
:) Because this material can be difficult to find reliably in specific colors
or patterns, actual selection will vary as we run out and get new in. Keeping
this in mind, please indicate a First and Second choice. Set of eight holds the
paste from 100 grams of powder.
Large cones: 10 for $5.00 |

Carrot
bags: 12" long triangular plastic bags. They are extremely useful
in henna. You can snip off the tip and use them to apply henna directly, or if
you like a more solid point, you can drop in an icing tip first. They are ideal
to fill cones (above), bottles, or syringes with henna as in the cone
tutorial. If you mix up a bunch of henna at once, you can portion it out into
these cones and freeze them. Then when you get the urge to henna again, just grab
a bag, toss it in warm water, and ten minutes later you're good to go! I highly
recommend investing in a cookie tin (below) to support the bag while you fill
it.
Disposable Plastic Droppers: 3ml graduated droppers
Hectograph Pencils for Transfer: Lots of people want to copy the gorgeous designs found in art or henna design books but don't feel they have the talent. Or, you may be a working artist who needs to copy the same design over and over. Whichever, a hectograph pencil is a great solution. All you'll need is standard tracing paper and water, alcohol, or clear deodorant.
Disposable
Plastic Gloves: Good for protecting a design against water damage, whether
washing dishes or in the shower. Also good for keeping mixing and cone-filling
messes of your pretty hands. Or, give your henna a sauna! Put on the glove and
run a piece of tape around the wrist. Run the henna under water as hot as you
can stand it, taking care not to get the open end wet. You'll see the difference
in a fresh design immediately!
These
balm were created specifically to help keep the henna on the skin longer. On me,
these convenient chapstick-sized sticks add about a week to my designs if used
regularly, and they help the design look its best at the same time.
Our new formula includes soy wax, bees' wax, and macadamia nut oil, possibly the world's most perfect oil for skin. It moisturizes from the inside out, helping discourage the quick exfoliation of rougher, dry skin.
We offer two scents made with our essential oils, listed below. We also offer Sparkles, for those who want a glimmer on top of their design. There also suitable for perfume sticks or for general body moisturizing. If you would like a different scent or color, custom formulas are available. Just email us.
