If you want to make your own henna designs, this is the place to get your
stuff! I personally use what I sell. Questions? Drop
me a line or call 1-860-225-8585.
Perfect Sift: It's baby powder smooth and fine
enough to go clog-free through anything you want to apply with. There is NO
DYE, no grit, nothing in this henna except henna.
Perfect Color: Many people have a screaming neon
red first day, as in the picture above. This is the absolute ideal for brides
of all cultures! From here, it goes to kidney bean then to blackberry. If
you start out more pumpkin than red (as I do) then it goes to rich warm near-black.
On hair, this should give you deep red tones. Due to its extreme freshness,
it should be ideal to cover greys.
Perfect Timing: This henna is one of the fastest
stains I've seen. If it's warm out and you use a mix
with oils like I do, you can get decent stains on
any body part in less than an hour This is great for the working artist, especially
for one who does a lot of upper arms, backs, and legs.
Perfect Consistency: Seriously stringy, gloriously
gloppy, magnificently mozzarella-like! This henna loves being drawn out into
long strands of over a foot without breaking. It's absolutely ideal for Moroccan,
Ethiopian, or any other work where having a line break will mess you up. If
you find it too glutinous, simply freeze it. Don't ask me why, but this seems
to tone it down some. I used a mylar cone
to apply the dark design above and it handled the curves with ease, so don't
worry about having difficulty if your work is very intricate.
Perfect Price: I was amazed to find this henna
so reasonably priced, and I am very proud to be able to offer this superior
powder to you at a price comparable to or lower than many of the dyed or unsifted
hennas currently available.
Khamsa Yemeni comes in a sealed plastic 100-gram pouches.
I'm so enchanted by Khamsa Yemeni that I've become the US distributor for
it! I am seeking retailers online and in stores, salons, and SCA, and Faires.
Resale pricing starts with as little as two kilograms and is extremely reasonable.
Regular bulk pricing for under that amount is also available- please inquire by
email.
Don't have the time to make up the henna yourself? Order fresh-made paste!
This is a great service for people who want to have all the fun with none of the
bother, and especially nice for those with allergies. With a store-bought premix,
you never know what else is in the mix. I make my usual paste with eucalyptus
oil. If you would like a different oil from this list,
it's no problem, just email
me (link) to get more information. The oil in the paste will scent your skin
for a couple days, which can be a beautiful way to extend the happy memories of
a happy occasion.
The no-fuss, no-mess way to do henna is to have me do all the work for you.
You get 25 grams of my fresh premix in a mylar cone with a precision point. 25
grams is enough to do moderately complex whole-hand patterns on a couple pairs
of hands. If you want a larger hole for bolder designs, simply clip off more of
the tip. These freeze for months without losing staining power and thaw on a counter
in about ten minutes, ready to use again. Single cones are in my choice of cone
pattern, although feel free to tell me which you like and if I have that one on
hand, you'll get it. With orders of four, you pick the pattern.
