Henna and Mehndi
Henna (or mehndi) is an ancient decorative body art practiced during all sorts of celebrations in India, North Africa, the Middle-East, and even modern Connecticut. The paste used is made from a ground-up plant leaf (Lawsonia inermis) mixed with fruit juices and essential oils and applied in patterns to the skin. The end result is a design in a lovely reddish-brown color that complements every skin tone and can last weeks.
HennaDancer is available to provide henna services at events like weddings, bar mitzhavs and bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, quincenearas, baby showers, ladies' night out (or in!), Eid, Diwali, and any other excuse for a party! We have several excellent artists available for events requiring multiple artists.
